Product Description: Encasing SET 2 - allergen-proof Bed Equipment
The Set includes one Encasing each for pillows 80x80cm, duvet 135x200cm and mattress 100x200x16 cm. The Allermed® Allergy bedding is very soft and cuddly without making crackling noises. Equipped with nickel-free zippers.
The new Allermed-Encasings combine an ideal allergen lockout with air permeability. We have put an end to the unpleasant warm and moist climate in the beds of allergy sufferers. Conventional allergy encasings function like a a rubber mat. They block allergens, but also air and moisture. The result: One sweats too much and cannot get a deep and restful sleep.
The microfibre fleece combines the advantages of both concepts: the unique fabric structure stops allergens and particles at more than 99.5%, while allowing air and humidity to circulate in above average values. It’s like sleeping in a normal bed, but free of allergens and pollutants which can make one ill.

Allermed Encasings - Bed Linen for house dust allergy sufferer
Encasings are coatings, which protect against
mite allergens. Encasings are not a substitute for bed linen, but are placed between the mattress, blanket or pillows and bed linen.
The special feature of Allermed encasings
- Allermed Encasings allow air and moisture to circulate and thus means you will have a restful sleep.
- Allermed Encasings consist of a three-layer fleece. The two outer layers provide stability and because of that the Encasings are hard-wearing .
- The middle layer, made of polyolefin fibres, blocks allergenic particles up to a size of 0.001 mm.
- The zippers are very impermeable. They have inner and outer straps.
- The Allermed Encasings were scientifically tested. They correspond to the RWTÜV Standards for Allergy Sufferer.
Protection against mite allergens
Dust mites belong to arachnids and grow up to a size between 0.1 and 0.5 mm. They grow best at warm temperatures and high humidity.
House dust mites are found in almost all beds, as well as in carpets and upholstered furniture. They live on dandruff, which every human being loses daily.
The excretion of the
mites can cause allergies and provoke an
allergic reaction. House dust mite allergy is in fact one of the most common form of allergies. Indications of a
mite allergy: permanent cold, shortness of breath, skin irritation and asthma.

Instructions for using Allermed Encasings
- Mattress, pillow and blanket have to be covered fully with the Encasing.
- The Encasing for the Mattress has a three-sided zipper to make covering easier.
- The zippers have to be sealed thoroughly according to Instructions.
- The Encasings can be washed at 60°C in the washing machine without any problems.
- Washing once in three months is enough to guarantee a reliable protection against allergens.
- With proper handling, 5 years of warranty are granted.
