With the Römertopf grill tray there is no formation of flames, as fats and sauces cannot drip into the embers. The Plancha was developed together with the chef Johann Lafer and is characterized by the high-quality, fireproof ceramic and the scratch-resistant glaze. The grill trays can come into direct contact with the embers. They are heat-resistant and can withstand temperature differences of up to 900°C. The Plancha can be used in the oven, microwave and on all types of cookers except induction. It is suitable for meat, vegetables and specialities such as halloumi.

The rectangular Römertopf grill tray is much more than just an environmentally friendly alternative to aluminium grill trays. Due to the thicker material, the Plancha takes a little longer to reach the frying temperature. However, this has the advantage that it heats up evenly without hotspots and the grill bars give the food the typical grill pattern. It also keeps the heat longer. Everything is cooked evenly and grilled food is kept warm by the Plancha, even if you take the grill plate off the fire. All materials used are free of known allergens. The Plancha does not contain nickel or aluminium.
