The WECK glass carafe with glass lid is suitable for preserving, storing and serving a variety of drinks and liquid foods. Its tall, slim shape supports controlled pouring and provides space for larger quantities.
The set contains six carafes, each supplied with a matching glass lid. The transparent glass keeps the contents and filling level clearly visible. The carafes can be used in the kitchen, pantry, at the breakfast table or on buffets.
Versatile Glass Carafe for Drinks and Liquid Foods
The WECK glass carafe can be used for homemade juices, smoothies, iced tea and other drinks. It is also suitable for storing and serving vinegar, cooking oil, dressings and liquid sauces.

Preserving Juices
The glass carafe can be used for preserving fruit and vegetable juices. For preserving, the glass lid is used together with a suitable preserving ring and preserving clips.
The glass lid alone does not create an airtight seal. Preserving rings with a diameter of 60 mm are required for this carafe. Preserving rings and clips are not included and are available separately.
Preserving times and temperatures depend on the contents and recipe used.
Preparing and Storing Liquids
The carafe may also be used to prepare flavoured vinegar, oil or homemade liqueurs. Suitable recipes, hygienic preparation methods and recommended storage conditions should be followed.
A matching WECK plastic lid with a diameter of 60 mm can be used for covered storage or refrigeration. It is available separately.
Baking Mixes and Dry Pantry Foods
In addition to liquids, the carafe can be used for dry foods that are easy to fill and pour. Examples include rice, small pasta shapes, pulses, sugar, spice mixtures and prepared baking mixes.
Layered ingredients remain visible through the transparent glass. The carafe can therefore also be used to present homemade baking mixes and other food gifts.
Transporting Drinks
When used with a suitable preserving ring and correctly fitted preserving clips, the carafe can be closed firmly. Before transport, check that all closure parts are fitted correctly and suitable for the contents.
Carbonated drinks should only be transported or stored in containers specifically designed to withstand internal pressure.
Suitable as a Vase
The tall glass carafe may also be used as a vase for individual flowers or small arrangements. It should be cleaned thoroughly after use according to the contents.
Easy to Clean
The carafe and glass lid are dishwasher-safe and can be cleaned easily after use.
Before preserving, all components should be cleaned thoroughly and checked for cracks, chips or other damage. Damaged carafes or lids must not be used.
