With the Kilner fermenting set you can wonderfully experiment and explore new worlds of taste! Try fermenting Chinese cabbage or beet! Even tomatoes and cucumbers are suitable for fermenting in the screw jar. To acidify the vegetables, you only need to add water and salt. Any gases produced during the fermentation process escape through a valve, which also prevents oxygen from entering the jar during the ripening process. The fermentation process creates tasty, very healthy and extremely durable food.
