The sturdy ironing board Au Pair is made of solid ash wood and combines aesthetics and functionality. The wooden top ironing board has been made by disabled people in a Sheltered Workshop. The wooden feet have an anti-slip coating to ensure safety and stability. The top itself is perforated with steam escape holes. It makes steam ironing safe and comfortable and no excess moisture can collect under the cover. The natural white cotton cover is untreated and a spare one is included. The collapsible ironing board is already assembled.

The Munich based design agency rpm factor product who conceptualised the Side By Side ironing board has received the design award FORM 2005 for this work. The height of the collapsible ironing board is adjustable and reaches 90 cm at its highest position. It allows comfortable ironing in any sitting or standing position. The metal bracket holds the ironed items until they have cooled. The results are perfectly ironed clothing and the feeling of a job well done.
The collapsed state measurements are h 156 x w 42.5 x d 11.5 cm and measurements of the ironing top are l 132.5 x w 35.5 cm.
