The WECK jar lifter makes it easier to grip and remove hot preserving jars from a preserving machine, saucepan or hot water bath. The chrome-plated metal arms surround the jar, while the non-slip plastic handles support controlled handling.
The jar lifter is suitable for all WECK jars and many preserving jars from other manufacturers. It can be used during preserving, sterilising and other tasks involving hot glass containers.
During preserving, jars and water can reach high temperatures. The jar lifter allows the containers to be raised without touching the hot glass directly with the hands.

The non-slip plastic handles are designed to provide a secure grip during lifting. They support controlled handling and make it easier to move hot jars carefully.
The jar lifter should always be used calmly with both hands and without sudden movements.
The sturdy metal arms are positioned around the jar and grip it from the outside during lifting. The chrome-plated surface protects the metal and makes cleaning after use easier.
Before each use, check that the handles and metal arms are undamaged and securely connected.

The arms should surround the jar evenly during lifting. Very heavy or unsuitable containers should only be handled when they can be gripped securely.
Open the jar lifter and position the metal arms around the sides of the jar. Press the handles together until the jar is held securely. Lift the jar slowly in a vertical direction and place it on a heat-resistant surface.
Do not use the jar lifter if the container cannot be gripped completely and securely. Hot jars should not be placed on cold or wet surfaces, as sudden temperature changes may damage the glass.
Allow the jar lifter to cool after use and clean it according to the manufacturer's instructions. Let it dry completely before storing.
Store the product in a dry place and check it regularly for deformation, loose connections or other damage.
