The RIESS black enamel gourmet pan combines frying, oven cooking and serving in one piece of cookware. Two short handles allow prepared dishes to be taken directly from the heat source to the table.
Its steel core absorbs heat quickly and distributes it across the cooking surface. The dark enamel finish is suitable for browning food and provides a flavour-neutral, cut- and scratch-resistant surface.
Five diameters are available for different portion sizes. The pan can be used on the hob, in the oven, on a grill or over an open fire.
The pan is made from enamelled sheet steel. The steel core transfers heat quickly, while the enamel provides a smooth cooking surface.
The pan is offered in Black Enamel. Both the interior and exterior are black.
The RIESS gourmet pan is available with a diameter of 16, 20, 24, 26 or 30 cm.
The pan can be used on induction, gas and glass-ceramic hobs. It is also suitable for ovens, grills and open fires.
The manufacturer recommends a maximum operating temperature of 220°C.
Depending on the selected size, the pan can be used for individual portions or dishes for several people. It is suitable for egg dishes, dumplings, vegetables, sliced meat and oven-baked recipes.
Use an appropriate amount of oil or cooking fat when frying. As enamel cookware absorbs heat quickly, the temperature can be reduced after preheating.
The handles become hot during use. Oven gloves or suitable handle covers should therefore be used.
Remove all labels before first use. The pan can then be rinsed with boiling water and a small amount of vinegar.
Dishwasher cleaning is possible. Hand washing with warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft sponge or brush is recommended to maintain the surface.
Soak burnt-on food in warm water and washing-up liquid while the pan is still warm. Do not use wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand or sponges with ceramic particles.
The RIESS gourmet pan is manufactured in Austria. RIESS uses electricity generated by its own hydropower facilities to produce its enamel cookware.
The pack contains one RIESS black enamel gourmet pan in the selected size. A lid and serving board are not included.
