The ceramic grill bowl from Römertopf consists of fireproof clay that can withstand temperatures of up to 900°C. The ceramic grill bowl is made of a special clay. This allows you to heat the grill tray without aluminium exactly to the heat a juicy steak needs. Optimum, even heat distribution ensures even cooking, which is important for fish dishes, for example. With the grill bowl without holes there is no flame formation and also sausages, halloumi and vegan burgers taste excellent from it. The grill bars ensure that meat juice and fat drip off from the barbecue food and the caramelized grill flavour is retained. The Plancha plate for grill was developed by Römertopf in cooperation with the gourmet chef Johann Lafer. With its black glazed exterior and transparent interior glaze, the Plancha plate for grills has a rustic appearance and is also suitable for serving. The versatile ceramic grill bowl can be used on all types of stoves except induction stoves. The grill tray can also be used without holes in the oven, microwave or campfire. For grilling vegetables in a grill tray, we recommend varieties that are suitable for caramelising, such as eggplants, peppers, sweet potatoes and the like. Plancha plate for grill is glazed with a glaze without heavy metals and the smooth surface can be easily cleaned with a stainless steel pad or in the dishwasher. The grill tray without aluminum is reusable, so no garbage is produced and it is made of 100% food safe, environmentally friendly natural materials.
