The pre-filter of the Allermed CA35 supports the consistent filter performance of the air purifier and ensures that the service life is prolonged. The nonwoven material of the particle filter catches dust-fluff, mould spores, animal hair, pollens and other coarse particles before the air reaches the main filter. Changing the pre-filter regularly increases the lifespan of the main filter cartridge significantly. The particle filter will fit the small Allermed CA35 and the Austin Air Junior purifier. The nonwoven fabric of the pre-filter can be cut to size if required.

Exchange the pre-filter of the Allermed CA35 Junior air purifier or the small Austin Air Healthmate in regular intervals. In households with mould problems or where people live with cat, dog or bird allergies, or if they suffer from hay fever, a 6 monthly change is appropriate. Do not wash the pre-filter as it will lose its effectiveness. Generally, when the main filter cartridge is replaced, the pre-filter for dust and particles should be replaced at the same time. The pre-filter can be disposed of in domestic waste.
