The Allermed air purifier CA 35+ junior is ideal for bedroom and smaller rooms or as a second unit. Packaged into a compact, elegant design, it is ideal for bedroom, kitchen, small rooms, or offices. The Allermed CA 35+ junior absorbs the contaminated air in a 360° radius and filters it through a 4-component filtering cartridge:
1. the pre-filter removes coarse particles such as dust, hair, animal dander and fibers.
2. The fine particle filter removes pollen, mold spores, spores, and fine dust from the air.
3. The 2.9 kg “active carbon mixture gas filter” with active carbon and mineral silicate binds gaseous matter such as chemicals and odours efficiently by catching them through its porous surface (i.a. ammonia, sulfuric acid, benzene, toluene, formaldehyde, and many more).
4. The last step of purification is the HEPA fine particle filter with an area of over 900 cm² which removes over 99.97% of particles larger than 0,3 µm 2 year warranty

The Allermed CA 35+ junior uses comparable filtering techniques to those that are used in operating rooms and high-tech cleanrooms: HEPA filtration and gas adsorption.
HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arresting) filtration was originally developed by the American commission for nuclear energy to eliminate radioactive suspended particles. This device uses a genuine HEPA filter with an efficiency of 99.97% for particles the size of 0.3 micro meters (0.0003 mm). This particle size is so important because it is the hardest to eliminate. An important feature of the HEPA filter is the extremely high efficiency that only increases over time while electrostatic air purifiers lose efficiency over time. The Allermed CA 35+ junior contains a high amount of this precious HEPA filter medium to guarantee a long lasting, useful life.
Active carbon and mineral silicate - effective gas- and odour deposition
The HEPA device uses two gas-absorbing substances, active carbon and mineral silicate, for the effective deposition of a myriad of vaporous compounds and odours. Most other air purifiers only contain minimal amounts of these “gas filtering agents” while the Allermed CA35+ junior weighs in with 2,9 kilograms of filtering agents. This sets it apart from common air purifiers and guarantees an efficient elimination of organic compounds, such as benzene, toluene, and formaldehyde which are part of complex toxic cocktails in many inside areas.
