The WECK tulip jar with glass lid is suitable for preserving, storing, portioning and serving a variety of foods. Its curved tulip shape makes it particularly suitable for desserts, small dishes, jams, dips and homemade specialities.
The set contains twelve jars, each supplied with a matching glass lid. The transparent glass keeps the contents clearly visible. Its compact size is ideal for smaller portions and allows food to be presented attractively at the breakfast table, on buffets or in restaurants.

The WECK tulip jar can be used for both sweet and savoury foods. Its wide opening makes filling, serving and eating directly from the jar easier.

Preserving and Sealing
For preserving, the glass lid is used together with a suitable preserving ring and preserving clips. The glass lid alone does not create an airtight seal.
Preserving rings with a diameter of 60 mm are required for this tulip jar. Preserving rings and preserving clips are not included and can be purchased separately.
The required preserving times and temperatures depend on the food and the recipe used.
Serving and Storage
In addition to preserving, the tulip jar is suitable for portioning and serving small dishes. Desserts, starters, dips and sauces can be prepared and presented directly in the jar.
Dry foods such as spices, sugar, nuts or baking ingredients can also be stored clearly and neatly. A suitable WECK plastic lid may be used for storage in the refrigerator and is available separately.

Before each preserving process, the jars and lids should be cleaned thoroughly and checked for cracks, chips or other damage. Damaged jars or lids must not be used for preserving.
