The WECK jar with glass lid is ideal for canning, baking, portioning, serving, and storing sweet and savory foods. The wide opening and nearly straight interior shape make filling, scooping, and removing solid contents easy.

The set includes six jars, each with its own matching glass lid. The compact design is perfect for small meals, individual dessert portions, and homemade food.

Versatile preserving jar for the kitchen and table
The transparent glass allows you to easily see individual ingredients and layers. Food can be prepared directly in the jar and then served at the breakfast table, at a buffet, or as individual portions.

The WECK preserving jar is ideal for:

Jams, preserves, and jellies
Pesto, chutneys, and dips
Appetizers and small side dishes
Salads and coleslaw
Muesli, yogurt, and overnight oats

Straight shape for easy removal
The straight shape makes it easier to remove firmer foods and small baked goods from the jar. This allows the jar to be used for cakes, puddings, or portioned meals, among other things.

The wide opening also makes filling and removing food with a spoon or fork easier.

For canning and sealing
For canning, the glass lid is used together with a suitable canning ring and canning clips. The glass lid alone does not create an airtight seal.

Canning rings with a diameter of 80 mm are required for this jar. Canning rings and clamps are not included and are available separately.

The required canning times and temperatures depend on the specific food and the recipe used.

Also for backing
The heat-resistant glass jar can be used to bake small cakes or other baked goods using a suitable recipe.

The jar should not be exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations. Before baking, check that the jar is free of cracks, chips, and other damage.

Serving and Storing
Desserts, yogurt, muesli, appetizers, and side dishes can be prepared and served directly in the jar. Dry foods such as spices, nuts, or baking ingredients can also be stored neatly in it.

For covered storage or refrigeration, a matching WECK freshness lid with an 80 mm diameter can be used. This is available separately.

Easy Cleaning
The jar and glass lid are dishwasher-safe and can be easily cleaned after use.

Before canning or baking, all components should be thoroughly cleaned and checked for any damage. Damaged jars or lids must not be used.
