The RIESS farmer’s frying pan combines the traditional shape of a classic iron pan with an enamel surface. The exterior is black and the interior is finished in an intense medium blue. Its long handle provides comfortable handling and includes a hole for hanging.
The steel core absorbs heat quickly and distributes it across the cooking surface. This makes the pan suitable for frying on the hob as well as finishing dishes in the oven or on the grill.

Material
The pan is made from enamelled sheet steel. Its steel core provides rapid heat absorption, while the smooth enamel surface makes cleaning straightforward.
Colour and Finish
The exterior is enamelled in black and the interior in an intense medium blue. The long handle is also enamelled and features a hole at the end for hanging.
Available Sizes
The RIESS farmer’s frying pan is available in diameters of 24, 26 and 30 cm.
The 24 cm version has an inner diameter of 22.6 cm, a cooking surface of 17.1 cm and a depth of 4 cm. Its usable capacity is 0.95 litres, with a maximum capacity of 1.4 litres. External dimensions are approximately 46.9 × 23.1 × 9.6 cm and the weight is around 0.889 kg.
The 26 cm version has an inner diameter of 24.6 cm, a cooking surface of 18.5 cm and a depth of 4.5 cm. Its usable capacity is 1.3 litres, with a maximum capacity of 1.8 litres. External dimensions are approximately 48.7 × 25.1 × 10.3 cm and the weight is around 1.055 kg.
The 30 cm version has an inner diameter of 29.6 cm, a cooking surface of 22.5 cm and a depth of 5.5 cm. Its usable capacity is 2 litres, with a maximum capacity of 3.2 litres. External dimensions are approximately 53.7 × 30.2 × 11.8 cm and the weight is around 1.527 kg.
Suitable Heat Sources
The pan is suitable for induction, gas and glass-ceramic hobs. It can also be used in the oven, on a grill and over an open fire.
The manufacturer recommends a maximum operating temperature of 220°C.
Use
The pan is suitable for searing meat, vegetables, potatoes and other pan-fried dishes. Since the handle is fully enamelled, the pan can also be used in the oven.
The handle becomes hot during use. Oven gloves or suitable handle protection should therefore be used.
Care Instructions
Remove all labels before first use. The pan can then be rinsed with boiling water and a small amount of vinegar.
Dishwasher cleaning is possible. Hand washing with warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft sponge or brush is recommended to help preserve the shine and colour.
Soak burnt-on residue while the cookware is still warm. Do not use wire brushes, steel wool, coarse abrasive cleaners or sponges containing ceramic particles.
