The blue RIESS lid with chrome rim complements pots and casseroles from the Classic Pastel collection in the corresponding size. It can be used for covered cooking and for keeping prepared food warm.
The enamel surface is flavour-neutral and resistant to cuts and scratches. A robust chrome rim surrounds the lid and provides a stable outer finish.

Material
The lid is made from enamelled sheet steel. Its smooth enamel surface is easy to clean and does not come into direct contact with the food during normal use.
Colour and Finish
The lid is offered in Blue from the RIESS Classic Pastel collection. The outer edge is finished with a chrome rim.

The RIESS lid with chrome rim is available in diameters of 18 and 24 cm.
The 18 cm version measures approximately 18.5 × 18.5 cm. Its external height is around 5.4 cm, its depth is 4.9 cm and its weight is approximately 297 g.
The 24 cm version measures approximately 24.5 × 24.5 cm. Its external height is around 6.8 cm, its depth is 3.6 cm and its weight is approximately 524 g.
Compatibility
The 18 cm lid fits RIESS pots and casseroles with chrome rims in the 18 cm size.
The 24 cm lid is intended for RIESS pots and casseroles with chrome rims in the 24 cm size.

Use
Place the lid on the matching pot or casserole during cooking. When rising steam causes the lid to rattle, the heat can be reduced.
The lid and handle may become hot during use. Oven gloves or suitable handle protection should be used when removing it.
Care Instructions
Remove all labels and clean the lid thoroughly before first use.
The lid is dishwasher-safe. Hand washing with warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft sponge or brush is recommended to help preserve its shine and colour.
Soak stubborn residue before cleaning. Do not use wire brushes, steel wool, coarse abrasive powders or sponges containing ceramic particles.
Store the lid only after it has been dried completely.
