HEPASilent
Classic 280i uses Blueair's patented HEPASilent technology, which captures up to 99.97% of airborne particles down to the size of 0.3 micrometers. HEPASilent uses a unique combination of both electrostatic and mechanical filtration, which means that the filter media can be made less dense while maintaining high filtration efficiency. Less force is required to press the air through the filter, which leads to first-class performance at all speeds and an almost noiseless operation. The products are also certified with EnergyStar, which means minimal power consumption. Classic 280i is perfect for compact spaces such as bedrooms and smaller apartments.

Clear LED-symbols let you see the status of your air purifiers Wi-Fi connection, fan speed, air quality and when it is time to change filter. Blueair 280i is Wi-Fi compatible for simple remote control via smart phone or tablet.

Blueair Friend app
With the Blueair Friend app, you can control functions on your Blueair Classic 280i such as fan speed, LED-intensity, child safety lock and night mode. Blueair Friend can be downloaded for free from App Store or Google Play.

Built-in sensors
The intelligent air sensors in Blueair 280i allow you to measure, control and be aware of the quality of your indoor air. The sensors detect air pollution such as airborne particles, gases, volatile organic compounds and carbon dioxide. You can also receive information about temperature and air humidity in your smart phone/tablet in real time.

The sensors measure

• Hundreds of different types of ultra-small airborne particles (PM 2.5)

Filter
Classic 280i is supplied with a particle filter or a SmokeStop filter pre-installed. If you are having problems with odors and gases, we recommend a SmokeStop filter with activated carbon for best results. Enjoy breathing clean, healthy air that is 99.97% free from pollution.
