New with the Blueair 280i is the 3 way operating options with clearly designed LED touch buttons for manual operation, an automatic mode and a remote control function via Blueair Friends App, usable from wherever you are. Moreover, with the air purifier for asthma and allergies you get interior air quality testing in real-time at a glance. The display on the device or the app inform you about the levels of VOCs and PM 2.5 particulate matter. The app also gives information about the air adjacent to the room where the air purifier is placed.

Connected through Wi-Fi and app, the Blueair Classic 280i can work in automatic mode or can be operated remotely. You can control the air quality at home at any time from work, during leisure activities or on the go at any time and check whether the air quality is according to your wishes or health needs. With any smart device such as smartphone, tablet or smartwatch you can adjust the settings on your Blueair Friends app and ensure you have clean air at home. With this new innovative technology of the allergy, asthma and mould air purifier you have added security. Asthma and allergy sufferers, and anyone who is particularly affected by pollution problems such as PM2.5 particulate matter and hazardous substances, should use the automatic mode 24 hours a day to get optimum protection. You can of course adjust the setting manually at any time via the display.

The Blueair air purifier is equipped with the reliable SmokeStop and HEPASilent which includes an activated charcoal air filter. Bacteria, viruses, particulate matter and allergens such as pollen and mould spores are filtered by the pm 2.5 air purifier with high efficiency and very quietly. The activated charcoal acts as a VOC air filter and also eliminates gaseous, hazardous substances. Like a sponge the activated charcoal adsorbs fragrances, cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes, odours, VOCs and other solvents.
Low operating costs, easy filter exchange
The Blueair air purifier has a filter exchange timer which lets you know via LED display or app when it is time to exchange the filter. When used continuously the manufacturer recommends replacing the SmokeStop after 6 months. The Blueair 280i has been awarded an EnergyStar and is designed for continuous operation requiring only 20 Watts per hour. Improve indoor air quality permanently with the long lasting Blueair Classic 280i.
Replacement filters are cost-effective and available from the PureNature online shop. The exchange is easy and does not require tools. The Blueair 280i filter can be disposed of in the normal household waste. In the case of pollen or other seasonal allergies the filter exchange should be done just before the allergy season starts.
