Classic 405 uses Blueair's patented HEPASilent technology, which captures up to 99.97% of airborne particles down to the size of 0.3 micrometers. HEPASilent uses a unique combination of both electrostatic and mechanical filtration, which means that the filter media can be made less dense while maintaining high filtration efficiency. Less force is required to press the air through the filter, which leads to first-class performance at all speeds and an almost noiseless operation. The products are also certified with EnergyStar, which means minimal power consumption. With an elegant and award-winning metal design, Blueair Classic 405 does not require much space to deliver a high cleaning capacity (CADR 476 m3/h).

Clear LED-symbols allow you to see the status of your air purifiers Wi-Fi connection, fan speed and when you need to change filter. Blueair 405 is Wi-Fi compatible for easy remote control via smart phone or tablet.

Blueair Friend app
With the Blueair Friend app, you can control functions on your Blueair Classic 405, such as fan speed, LED-intensity, child safety lock and night mode. Blueair Friend can be downloaded for free from App Store or Google Play. Through your Wi-Fi connection you can easily connect your air purifier to your Blueair Aware air quality monitor and create a system that both detects and improves indoor air quality.

Filter
Classic 405 is supplied with a particle filter or a SmokeStop filter pre-installed. If you are having problems with odors and gases, we recommend a SmokeStop filter with activated carbon for best results. Enjoy breathing clean, healthy air that is 99.97% free from pollution.
