Lyocell - fibers have special properties:
They are breathable and absorb moisture very well, even better than cotton. The reason: Tencel® - fibers consist of fibrils - tiny hairs which absorb moisture. Unlike synthetic fibers, Tencel® - fibers release the moisture again slowly, which provides an optimal temperature regulation. An accumulation of heat is avoided and peaceful sleep is assured. By the way, synthetic fibers only store moisture on the surface.
Modern fibers from a well-known material:
Lyocell is a relatively new fiber, which was developed in Austria. It is made from wood cellulose. The wood used comes from sustainable forestry.
Lyocell - fibers have not only been successfully used in the medical and technical fields, but also as a material for home furnishings and apparel as well.
The pillow: The cover as well as the filling is made of Tencel®. The surface of the cushion is soft and silky smooth. It has a slight cooling effect, which is particularly pleasant in summer. But even in winter, a heat buildup is effectively prevented. A dream come true for people with sensitive skin!
