The rectangular RIESS black enamel roasting pan with lid is suitable for roasting, braising and baking in the oven. Two side handles allow the pan to be moved using appropriate oven gloves.
A folded edge in the lower section helps the lid sit securely and retain cooking liquid during preparation. Both sections can also be used separately, with the lid serving as an additional baking or roasting dish.

Material
The roasting pan and lid are made from enamelled sheet steel with a smooth black enamel surface.
Colour and Finish
The inside and outside are finished in Black Enamel. Both the lower pan and lid have two side handles.
Available Sizes
The rectangular RIESS roasting pan with lid is available in 32 x 22 cm and 37 x 26 cm.
The 32 x 22 cm version has internal dimensions of 29.4 x 19.6 cm and a depth of 6.6 cm. Its usable capacity is 2.6 litres and its maximum capacity is 3.4 litres.
The 37 x 26 cm version has internal dimensions of 34.6 x 23.6 cm and a depth of 7.7 cm. Its usable capacity is 4.6 litres and its maximum capacity is 5.8 litres.
Suitable Heat Sources
The roasting pan is suitable for ovens, grills and open fires.
According to the manufacturer, the enamel surface withstands temperatures up to 450°C. RIESS recommends a maximum operating temperature of 220°C.
Use
The roasting dish is suitable for meat dishes, slow-braised recipes, casseroles and bread. The base and lid can also be used separately for baking.
For baked dishes, RIESS recommends greasing the form well and, depending on the recipe, dusting it with flour or breadcrumbs.
The handles and lid become hot during use. Oven gloves should be used when handling the cookware.
Care Instructions
Remove all labels before first use and rinse the cookware with boiling water and a small amount of vinegar.
Dishwasher cleaning is possible. For regular care, warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft sponge or brush are recommended.
Stubborn residue can be soaked or loosened by briefly boiling water with washing-up liquid. Avoid steel wool, wire brushes, coarse abrasive cleaners and sponges containing ceramic particles.
